Across the Globe Medical – 2016

Arriving on February 13th and staying for a week, we had Across the Globe ministries come with a medical team. During their visit, we saw 326 patients combined from 3 different village brigades including Rio Viejo, Toncontin, and Los Limpios. On Wednesday, we took a break from medical consult to do some blitz-style school visits. In Yaruca, Toncontin, and El Paraiso, we visited 316 school kids total in just one day. In just one week’s ministry with Across the Globe, we were able to reach 642 people here with the love and care that pours out of hearts in line with Christ’s.

One highlight this week was having Dr. Gavan Duffy and his family visiting Honduras for the first time. Dr. Duffy was the orthopedic surgeon who replaced both of Dr. Martin’s hips and we were thrilled to have him view our ministry in person for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the mission and vision with him and hope to see him visiting Honduras again in the near future. In total, Across the Globe had a highly successful visit in February both in the schools and in medical brigades. With first time visitors and veterans alike, the team was united in its goal to love on the people of Honduras during their week here with us.
