For the first time ever we hosted a combined team from Alabama and North Carolina. We had an incredibly productive week of giving attention to patients at the Jungle Hospital, witnessing a live birth at Hospital Atlantida, traveling to Las Minas to give consult, and sorting through boxes in the O.R. and Recovery Wing of the hospital.
We had a great time with old friends Doug and Pam Lolley who returned to Honduras after completing their Family Nurse Practitioner degrees, and were finally able to act as providers in the setting that challenged them to change their careers. They shared the week with their neice and nephew, along with Amy Nasri and Robert Lincolnfelther from North Carolina.
