Healing Hands Global Ministry Update 2014

2014 has been one of the most fruitful years in Healing Hands Global’s history. God has moved so powerfully though all of our missions teams, visiting practitioners, missions interns and our very own HHGlobal staff. We are so honored that many of you have chosen to partner with us to fulfill God’s vision to bring Health, Hope and Healing to people of the Third World.

  • Hosted 18 missions teams and visiting practitioners
  • Mentored 7 missions interns on our J-Team
  • Saw over 1,400 patients on community medical brigades
  • Had over 1,900 consults at the Jungle Hospital
  • Taught health and hygiene classes to over 1200 students with 100% coverage for every school in the Cuenca
  • Distributed over 38,000 children’s vitamins and over 1200 doses of anti-parasitic medication
  • Gave classroom supplies to over 85 teachers
  • Painted 3 classrooms in 2 different village schools
  • Built and installed 2 playgrounds at 2 different village schools
  • Gave over 1,000 gifts to students at our Back 2 School Bash
  • Hosted out first Teachers Conference for over 80 teachers representing EVERY school in the Cuenca
  • Gave weekly dental care at the Jungle Hospital
  • Made progress equipping the Wunstel Ward of the Jungle Hospital and are awaiting government certification to open
  • Continued to support the remote village of Las Minas with monthly medical care and medications
  • Had our first ever Women’s Health Screening for 75 women from the village of Rio Viejo
