Martin and Wendy Williams

Martin G. Williams, MD

He is the medical director and only full-time practicing physician at the Jungle Hospital in Rio Viejo. He continues to serve as a volunteer physician and medical director of numerous hospitals and rural clinics within the country.

Wendy Williams

She serves as the ministry’s accountant, director of hospitality, volunteer/logistics coordinator, as well as medical translator and community development organizer.

Rachel Williams

Rachel has been serving with the Jungle Hospital since birth as a missionary’s kid. As she has matured into a missions-minded young woman she now serves as a staff member during her summers at home from Lee University. She serves as the ministry photographer, translator, and plays a vital role in implementing the J-Team Missions Internship curriculum.


Tabitha Hiers, RN

Tabitha has been serving with the Jungle Hospital since May 2012. Upon completion of her summer internship she was asked to return and serve as a nurse, and has been doing an incredible job ever since. She has shown great flexibility and faith as the challenges of living on the mission field present themselves.
