February was filled with some incredible work around the Jungle Hospital, and we were able to host many visitors that came prepared to serve. Since the expansion project dream began years ago, we have long awaited families to live in the newly constructed houses, and this February, Caleb and Lauren arrived along with their two children, Randi and Beckham, as the first long-term family. Lauren will be working in the hospital as a nurse and Caleb will be working alongside Wendy in the accounting and administration side of the ministry. We are excited to have them working with us and can’t wait to see how God uses them in Rio Viejo.

Mike and Kerri Gregory from City Hope Church also visited during the month of February. These guys made it a family affair and brought their awesome kids along with them to serve. The Gregory’s spent several days volunteering around the hospital during clinic days and filled their afternoons with work projects around campus. The family fun continued with a day of zip lining and hot springs! It’s always special to share Honduras with families who want to share their love of missions with their children.

Dr. Hiltrud, a Samaritan’s Purse doctor, and Bretta, Paige’s sister, also joined in on the February fun! Dr. Hillie was with us for two weeks providing medical care in the hospital. We are thankful for the partnership we have with Samartian’s Purse and the amazing volunteers they send to us. Bretta is a nurse so we put her to work triaging during our clinic days. What a blessing it is to have so many amazing volunteers!
